Home Stretch
It’s been an exciting weekend in the Hoddinott and Vancer households as Terry and Carl cycled through their hometown (London) on Friday. There were lots of hugs exchanged and the guys got to sleep in their own beds for one night, which recharged their batteries and renewed their spirits to carry on to Halifax. Terry and Carl have now completed 3 days of their cross Canada bike ride and are now in Regina! Sounds like they’ve had quite an adventure already with massive mountains to climb, severe heat and winds, very minimal sleep (2 hours the first night), and Terry has been battling some gastrointestinal upset - not a good situation when you’re riding a bike for 10 hours a day!
